Fall in love with what you do!

Earlier we talked about the effects of falling in love with yourself and how this reflects positively on your self-esteem and on your productivity and dedication to personal and professional goals.

Continuing the theme of Passion, we're going to talk about the importance of falling in love with what you do.

There's a phrase by Confucius, China's most famous philosopher and political thinker, which says: "Choose a job you love and you won't have to work a day in your life".

The premise is exactly that: when we love what we do, we automatically dedicate ourselves completely to our activity. This doesn't mean that we won't have setbacks along the way, but when we do what we really love, even adversity acts as a driving force to achieve our goals.

Of course, we can't ignore the fact that we don't always just do what we love. After all, we also need to adapt to our reality and all the relevant duties of the activity we carry out. But that doesn't stop you from looking at what you do in a more positive light.

Just as when you fall in love with someone, it's important to discover aspects of your job that inspire you, as well as new possibilities. Being in front of something you don't yet know so well can be the perfect opportunity to discover new skills and why not a new passion!
