This contact is usually initiated by the customer's own needs and is also the moment when they are most open to answering your questions. That's why you should always try to draw up a profile of your customer during this first contact: Who is he? How old are they? What is their profession? Are they married? Do they have children? Nowadays, people pay attention to everything and realise when you're only concerned with selling your product and not with serving them in the best way. So the main point in your relationship with the customer is: make them feel that they are important and show them that you will do everything possible to help them! Try to develop a relationship whenever possible! Keep the customer informed of news related to their interests. Always offer more attention and courtesy than the customer would expect. Show that "he's not just another one!" Remember that the customer is the only person who has the power to make a company redundant!
